The hot mud flow caused by Lapindo drilling operations has continued for more than two years. Tens of villages have already drowned and tens of thousands of people have been forced to suffer from the loss of their homes and livelihoods, while hundreds of thousands of others are threatened with the same fate.
Until now the government has handled this case in a slow manner, and in doing so has allowed Lapindo to escape their responsibilities. So, let us urge Lapindo to be accountable for the Lapindo mud flow.
